The Internet Explorer web browser runs on all versions of
the Microsoft Windows operating system. Internet Explorer allows users to
restrict the websites the browser will display, so that children or library
patrons are effectively prevented from visiting unsafe web sites. This
restriction is accomplished by keeping a "black list" of forbidden
sites. You can manage this list, and thus block certain webpages in Internet
Explorer.
Step
1
Launch Internet Explorer by clicking
"Start," then "Internet Explorer." Click on
"Tools," then on "Internet options," then on
"Content."
